Meet David Brown

I’m David Brown, owner of Barrier Island Property Management LLC. I’ve lived in Ocean County my entire life — born in Beachwood and now a proud resident of Pine Beach. This community isn’t just where I work; it’s home.

For the past 20 years, I’ve worked in property maintenance, helping homeowners keep their properties in great shape. I’ve fixed just about everything you can imagine in a Shore home — from winterizing pipes to repairing storm damage to replacing rotted deck boards.

After two decades of working for other companies, I decided it was time to start my own business and serve my community directly. Barrier Island Property Management was built on a simple idea: treat every home like it belongs to a neighbor, because it probably does. Renovatio Founding

The company is founded by Armin Smith, an experienced interior design with a passion for sustainable design.

Why I Started This Business

I saw too many homeowners — especially seasonal residents and retirees — struggling to find reliable help. They’d call contractors who never showed up, or pay too much for simple repairs. I knew I could do better.My goal is simple: provide honest, dependable property care at fair prices. No job is too small.
